How often should I change my oil?
We recommend every 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.  If you are using a synthetic oil, you may go a little farther.

Performing periodic maintenance is a good thing you can do to preserve the health of your automobile.  An oil fluid and filter change is one of the simplest, most effective and inexpensive ways to protect the life of your car and normally takes very little time.  An oil change at My Mechanic includes new high quality motor oil and filter, battery performance inspection, setting the tire pressure to the correct level, top off all fluids, and a full visual inspection.

Do I need to rotate my tires and how often?
At My Mechanic our tire rotation service is designed to help protect you and your tires and keeps you driving safely.  Rotating your tires better distributes tread wear and extends the life of your tires and allows us to perform a better inspection of your tires.  We recommend rotations at least every 6,000 miles. (about every 2 oil changes)

How about my air filter?
Clean air filters can increase engine performance, boost fuel mileage and reduce engine wear. Cabin air filters can minimize airborne contaminants in the passenger compartment and improve heating/cooling efficiency.  At My Mechanic we recommend replacement of your engine air filter at 10,000-15,000 miles depending on your driving conditions.

What other fluids do we need to service regularly?
Your vehicle relies on a variety of fluids to operate its brake, steering, transmission, drive train, engine cooling and other systems.
